Laconia----Mrs. Elizabeth A. Morrissette, 88 formerly of 49 Warren Street, died at the Mt. Ridge Center Genesis Eldercare Network, Franklin, Thursday, July 31, 2003. She was the widow of Wilfred R. Morrissette who died in 1945.
Mrs. Morrissette was born October 17, 1914 in Laconia, the daughter of Nelson and Emma (Collette) Mitchell. She was a life long resident of Laconia.
Mrs. Morrissette was employed at Cormier Hosiery Mill for 45 years, retiring in 1980. She was a communicant of St. Joseph Church.
Survivors include a daughter-in-law Savillia Morrissette of Laconia; 2 grandsons Kevin N. and his wife Lisa Morrissette and Peter E. and his wife Anne Morrissette all of Laconia; 5 great-grandchildren. She was predeceased by her parents and her son Nelson W. Morrissette who died in 1996.
Calling hours will be held on Sunday, August 3, 2003 from 6-8 PM at the Wilkinson-Beane Funeral Home, 164 Pleasant Street, Laconia using the Carriage House entrance.
A Mass of Christian burial will be celebrated at St. Joseph Church, Laconia, Monday, August 4, 2003 at 11:30 AM. The Rev. Gary Kosmowski, pastor of the church will officiate. Burial will follow in Union Cemetery, Laconia.
In lieu of flowers memorial donations may be made to the Resident Council Fund, Mt. Ridge Center Genesis Eldercare Network, 7 Baldwin Street, Franklin, NH 03235.
